Our trek to Tulian Lake was an absolute highlight of the year! Located in the beautiful Pir Panjal range, this hidden gem truly surpassed our expectations. Trekking to Tulian Lake with friends was not just an adventure; it was an unforgettable bonding experience amidst nature's stunning beauty.The trail was challenging but incredibly rewarding. We began our journey early in the morning, and as we ascended through dense forests, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped peaks. The path was moderately difficult, with steep climbs and rocky patches, but nothing that we couldn’t overcome together as a team. We encouraged each other, laughed through the tough stretches, and celebrated every milestone we reached.The highlight of the trek was, of course, the lake itself. When we finally arrived at Tulian Lake, nestled at an altitude of about 3,700 meters, we were in awe of its serene, crystal-clear waters, surrounded by snow-clad mountains. The tranquility of the place was surreal, and it felt like we had stumbled upon a secret paradise.Camping near the lake was a magical experience. The night sky was filled with stars, and we spent hours chatting by the campfire, reflecting on the day's journey. Surmarg trek, unforgettable experience
Different from local sightseeing, horse ride and other typical experience this gave us raw natural beauty and real kashmiri hospitality experience. We took surmarg trek with Asif as family of 4, our youngest son being 5 year old. It was the bestest day of our Kashmir trip. We as a couple are definetly not athletic or very active so I was lil apprehensive about the trek but Asif was super supportive all the way. We took breaks and trekked at our own speed and trust me the view along the way and at the top was worth the efforts. Enjoyed tasty lunch prepared by Asif's family. We were looking for a memorable trek experience in Kashmir and were introduced to Mr.Shaban & Mr.Asif in Pahalgam. They guided us through a Surmarg trek trial , which turned out to be pleasant and peaceful with breathtaking views (because it's an offbeat place, free from crowd) . Mr.Asif is an excellent guide , and he had also bought the famous kahwa which was very tasty. He also plucked fresh walnuts for us on the way.
